Doll's and Child's Graniteware

DOLL'S & CHILD'S TOY GRANITEWARE GALLERY & HISTORY by Debbie McArdle

Through the centuries little girls have wanted to have kitchen accessories for themselves and their dolls that are “just like Mommy’s”. Graniteware / enameled ware manufacturers, especially in Germany, were quick to recognize this and created an interesting assortment of graniteware kitchen toys that often cost more to collect today than their full-sized counterparts!

In the photos on this page, the rarest pieces shown are the brown and white swirl mug (just 1” deep!) and the blue and white candlestick or chamberstick. Both pieces exhibit riveted construction. Women who collect graniteware often like to wear the miniature mugs as pendants.

The items pictured are typical of our inventory. If you see an item of interest, or have an item to sell, please inquire.
