Moore's Patent Firearms Co. S.A. Belt Revolver
for Smith & Wesson
This rare Moore's "Seven Shooter" revolver is 32 caliber rimfire with a 7-shot cylinder and 4-inch barrel. Serial number is 8124. This revolver features decorative scroll engraving on the brass frame. The barrel and cylinder swing out to the right via a thumb button to the right of the hammer. A spring-loaded removable ejector rod sits under the barrel. Walnut grips. Nice overall patina.
Barrel marked "MF'D FOR SMITH & WESSON BY MOORE'S PAT. FIRE ARMS CO." The Smith & Wesson mark is considered a premium on this piece. Cylinder marked "PATENTED APRIL 3, 1855 & SEPT. 18, 1860."
